'Grand Maman Lise' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Grand Maman Lise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double white flowers are 6½ inches (16 cm) wide and have a pleasant fragrance. Inner petals are ruffled and frilled, and stamens give a yellow glow inside. Plants grow to 36 inches (86 cm) tall, and Mooijekind bred it.
Pairs well with Delphinium, Rose, and Sensitive fern.
