Notes

'Grand Slam' camellia (Camellia japonica 'Grand Slam') is a shrub for borders, woodland gardens, and pollinator plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun and average to wet soil. This slow-growing evergreen has a columnar shape, tolerates salt, and blooms in winter and spring for bees and birds. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Cherry laurel, Wax myrtle, Cobra lily, and Blue star.
