Notes

'Green Acres' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Green Acres') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, full double blooms are a medium pink, neither pale nor dark. Strong stems hold the flowers up, and the plant stays fairly short.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Dalmatian bellflower, and Nodding onion.
