Notes

'Green Island' daffodil (Narcissus 'Green Island') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The flowers are fragrant and open in mid-season. Each bloom is about 100 mm wide with a creamy white cup edged in greenish yellow. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Cora Louise peony, Greig's tulip, and Weigela.
