Notes

'Green Tails' amaranth (Amaranthus tricolor 'Green Tails') is an annual for borders, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance beds. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Bees visit it, and it is drought tolerant once settled in. Its blooms appear from early to late summer and again from early to late autumn.

Pairs well with Ivory Princess calendula, Red fescue, and Old Rose Dandy peony.
