Notes
'Red Leaf' amaranth (Amaranthus tricolor 'Red Leaf') is an annual for borders and low maintenance beds. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows at a moderate pace and tolerates drought. It matures in about 40 days from seed. Bloom comes in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn.
Pairs well with Supertunia Bordeaux petunia, Ivory Princess calendula, and Red fescue.
