Notes

'Greenii' flame lily (Gloriosa superba 'Greenii') is a climbing bulb for borders, containers, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. The flowers are yellow-green, and the plants are smaller than Rothschildiana. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows fast and reaches 47 to 71 inches tall.

Pairs well with Oleander, Red Lion amaryllis, and Gerbera daisy.
