Notes

'Greenstar' tulip (Tulipa 'Greenstar') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The brown-green blooms open from early to late spring. Plants reach 12 to 24 inches tall, so they work well in the front or middle of a bed. Vertuco B.V. bred it.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Splendid Cornelia common hyacinth, Ivory Bells Persian lily, and Purple Prince tulip.
