Notes

'Splendid Cornelia' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Splendid Cornelia') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It blooms in early to late spring, and bees visit the fragrant flowers. G.Th. Weijers bred it.

Pairs well with Gipsy Queen common hyacinth, White Splendour Greek thimbleweed, Lilac Perfection tulip, and Rainforest Sunrise hosta.
