Notes

'Grefsheim' spirea (Spiraea cinerea 'Grefsheim') is a shrub for borders and hedges, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows about 59 to 71 inches tall and wide, so give it room. Fragrant flowers open from early to late spring and attract butterflies.

Pairs well with Happy Centennial border forsythia, Kwanzan cherry, and Angelique tulip.
