Notes
'Grevillei' multiflora rose (Rosa multiflora 'Grevillei') is a shrub for hedges, screens, and fragrant borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Its arching canes grow fast and reach 4 to 15 feet tall and wide. Purple to pink flowers open in spring and again in summer, and they are fragrant. Give it plenty of room to spread.
Pairs well with Purple Pillar rose of sharon, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Stargazer lily, and Spiderwort.
