Notes

'Gromas' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Gromas') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Michael Miely bred it. The deep pink double flowers are bud type and do not open completely, so they keep a solid shape and last a long time in the vase. The plant grows to 39 inches tall.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, New England aster, and Ostrich fern.
