Notes
Grooved flax (Linum sulcatum) is an annual for meadow plantings. It handles cool weather and a light frost. This wildflower grows up to 36 inches tall. Its yellow flowers open in late spring, then bloom again from early to late summer and into early autumn. It grows wild in sandy, gravelly fields, prairies, cedar glades, and open woods, so a sunny spot with light soil suits it.
Pairs well with Indian grass, Cosmos, and Nodding onion.
