Notes

Blue flax (Linum narbonense) is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It tolerates drought once settled in. Blue flax blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer.

Pairs well with Speedwell, Feather reed grass, and Avens.
