Notes
'Guernsey Flute' clematis (Clematis 'Guernsey Flute') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. White flowers with brown anthers open in spring, summer, and autumn, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Raymond J. Evison bred it in 2023.
Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Bobo hydrangea, Obsidian coral bells, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
