Notes

'Happy Ring' cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus 'Happy Ring') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast into a clumping plant that reaches 35 to 47 inches tall. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and it tolerates drought. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Ageratum, Hidcote lavender, and Franz Schubert garden phlox.
