Notes
'Hari-ai-nin' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Hari-ai-nin') is a perennial that bears red flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). The blooms open in early summer and bring bold color to the garden. This peony grows up to 35 inches tall, so give it space in the bed. Plant it where you want an early summer show. Grant B. Babcock bred it.
Pairs well with Royal fern, Cosmos, and Picture tulip.
