Notes

'Hauraki' rose (Rosa 'Hauraki') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows into a bushy mound with medium green leaves and fragrant orange-red blooms. Bees visit the flowers from late spring into early autumn. Samuel Darragh bred it in 1994.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Cora Louise peony, and Guacamole hosta.
