Notes
'He Hao' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'He Hao') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double white flowers carry a pink blush and a light fragrance. They open in early to late spring and face upward on an upright plant about 90cm tall.
Pairs well with Sweet woodruff, Big bluestem, and Witch hazel.
