Notes
'Heavenly' black hellebore (Helleborus niger 'Heavenly') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland borders, and early color. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun. Pure white flowers with golden stamens sit above lush dark green leaves. In cold climates, it blooms as soon as the snow melts. The flowers turn light green and pink with age.
Pairs well with First Blush hosta, Fernleaf peony, and Amazing Grace tulip.
