Notes
'Heavenly Blue' Spanish bluebell (Hyacinthoides hispanica 'Heavenly Blue') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The light violet-blue flowers have grey-blue edges and open in early to late spring. It forms a clump and grows at a rapid rate.
Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Little Beauty tulip, Sensitive fern, and Sedge.
