Notes

'Heavenly Tower' peony (Paeonia 'Heavenly Tower') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Light yellow flowers with light pink flares open on upright stems and have ruffled petals. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Roger F. Anderson bred it.

Pairs well with Solomon's seal, Curly Fries hosta, Switchgrass, and Queen of Night tulip.
