Notes

'Hellas' tulip (Tulipa 'Hellas') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows about 22 inches tall and blooms in dark pink-red from early to late spring. The petals have a fringed edge that glows signal red. E.H. Krelage & Son bred it.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Many Happy Returns peony, and Ernest Markham clematis.
