Notes

'Hemin' peony (Paeonia 'Hemin') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The coral-peach flowers are semi-double and face upward. Brownish-red flares spread from the center, and the guard petals are ruffled and notched.

Pairs well with September Charm anemone, Blue fescue, and Pink Impression tulip.
