Notes

'Henry Sass' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Henry Sass') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its tall, strong stems hold large, pure white, full double blooms that open in mid to late spring. The flowers are well formed and never coarse, and white this clean is rare. Hans Peter Sass bred it.

Pairs well with Hairy aster, Black Hero tulip, and Limeglow creeping juniper.
