Notes

'Hidden Treasure' peony (Paeonia 'Hidden Treasure') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant yellow flowers often hide close to the ground, and bees and butterflies visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. William J. Seidl bred it in 1989.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Indian Summer rudbeckia, Nodding onion, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
