Notes

'Hierapolis' peony (Paeonia 'Hierapolis') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Joshua Scholten bred it. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The double flowers blend salmon, cream, and orange-yellow, and they face upward on upright stems that need no support.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, and Nodding onion.
