Notes

'High Noon' rose (Rosa 'High Noon') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Fragrant, medium yellow blooms open from early to late summer and attract bees. Dr. Walter E. Lammerts bred it in 1946. The upright canes carry glossy, leathery leaves.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, The President clematis, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
