Notes

'Hity Tity' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Hity Tity') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. George Hollis bred it in 1909. It stays compact, short, and upright. The light pink blooms shade to lilac around a cream center and open in early summer.

Pairs well with Balloon flower, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
