Notes
'Hollywood' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Hollywood') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, trim blooms are an unusual shade of creamy cerise pink and open in late spring. They sit on stiff stems of medium height. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.
Pairs well with Sweet William, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Sensitive fern.
