Notes

'Horace McFarland' rose (Rosa 'Horace McFarland') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant has dark green leaves and fragrant orange-pink blooms that appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Charles Mallerin bred it, and A. Meilland introduced it in 1944.

Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Creme de Cassis dahlia, and Indian-hawthorn.
