Notes

'Horizon' peony (Paeonia 'Horizon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, light pink single flowers are fragrant, with an enormous center of golden stamens, and they draw butterflies and bees. Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Stella de Oro daylily, and Blue grama.
