Notes

'Hot Tamale' rose (Rosa 'Hot Tamale') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It stays compact and has fragrant yellow blend blooms from late spring into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Keith W. Zary bred it in 1993.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Blue mistflower, and Grape hyacinth.
