Notes
'Hovey’s White' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Hovey’s White') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers open pink and change to white as they age. Cut the blooms for bouquets once they begin to show color, and plant the clumps where they can grow undisturbed.
Pairs well with Lupine, Indian grass, and Joe Pye weed.
