Notes

'Ice Cream!' rose (Rosa 'Ice Cream!') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and fragrant gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The large buds look like peonies before they open into double, cupped flowers with a light, sweet scent of vanilla and anise. Blooms show deeper pink in cool weather and turn nearly white in heat. Brad Jalbert bred it, and the deep green leaves resist disease.

Pairs well with September Charm anemone, Ostrich fern, and Snowdrop.
