Notes

'Iced Lemon' peony (Paeonia 'Iced Lemon') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Lemon-yellow, semi-double blooms open in early to late spring on stems with good strength. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. John W. & Dot M. McFarlane bred it.

Pairs well with Monkshood, Spiderwort, and The President clematis.
