Notes
'Ida Pleas' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ida Pleas') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are single, so each bloom shows an open ring of petals around the center. Sarah A. Pleas bred it. You can plant it with spring bulbs and ferns for a layered look.
Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Sedge, and Ostrich fern.
