Notes

'Imperial Splendour' tulip (Tulipa 'Imperial Splendour') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are primrose yellow outside and fade toward ivory white. Inside, fern green blotches mark the yellow base. The leaves are mottled, and the plant blooms from early to late spring.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Cat's Pajamas nepeta, and Red Charm peony.
