Notes

'Imperial Sun' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Imperial Sun') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and blooms from early to late summer. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Hidcote lavender, Shasta daisy, and Feather reed grass.
