Notes

'Inniswood' peony (Paeonia 'Inniswood') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The sturdy plant has cut leaves and big, fragrant red blooms that attract butterflies and bees. William Henry Krekler bred it. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Nodding onion, and Sedge.
