Notes

Iris (Iris aucheri) is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. White flowers have yellow blotches on the falls and crest, and they are fragrant. They open in spring and again in summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Pink, Fountain grass, Snake's head, and Feverfew.
