Notes
'Iroji-mon' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Iroji-mon') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Wada bred it in 1937. The cut blooms make fine bouquets, and the woody stems stay in the border all year.
Pairs well with Balloon flower, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
