Notes

'Isabelle Karlitsky' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Isabelle Karlitsky') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Guerin bred it in 1858. The fragrant, full double flowers are deep pink and open in mid to late spring. Petal tips are a little lighter, which gives a silvery look.

Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Sedge.
