Notes
'Isani Gidui' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Isani Gidui') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The huge Japanese type flowers have two rows of broad white guard petals around a buff-yellow center. They open in mid to late spring on slightly bending stems. Stems may bend, so you can add support if needed.
Pairs well with Lanceleaf coreopsis, Obedient plant, Sedge, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
