Notes

'Jack Frost' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Jack Frost') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows about 35 inches tall. The double blooms are cream to near white, and the stamens peep out between the petals. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, New England aster, and Incrediball hydrangea.
