Notes
'Jackmanii Superba' clematis (Clematis 'Jackmanii Superba') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Purple flowers attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Thomas Cripps and Son bred it.
Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Green Spice coral bells.
