Notes

'Jacqueline' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Jacqueline') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It has numerous coral-red flowers in a Japanese form that open in mid season. The blooms stand well above the medium-size, spreading plant. Dr. Bernard Chow bred it.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Tickseed, and Black Hero tulip.
