'Jade Princess' ornamental millet (Cenchrus violaceus 'Jade Princess') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flower arrangements. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 24 to 48 inches tall and spreads 18 to 24 inches. Purple-brown flower spikes appear from early to late summer and again in early autumn.
