Notes

'Jamie' peony (Paeonia 'Jamie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Semi-double apricot-pink flowers open early and fade to pale champagne, and many side-buds keep the blooms coming for nearly one month. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The low, broad plants need no support.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Prairie dropseed, Nodding onion, and Christmas fern.
