Notes

'Jeanne Lapandry' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Jeanne Lapandry') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white flowers have yellow centers and open in early summer. They sit well above the foliage, so they show off nicely in a vase. Edouard Doriat bred it in 1925.

Pairs well with Tickseed, Garlic chives, and Virginia rose.
